Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl had a pop at Manchester United's players after Saturday's 1-1 draw.

United missed the chance to leapfrog West Ham into the top four after being held by Southampton at Old Trafford.

Jadon Sancho grabbed the opening goal of the game, which was just his second league goal all season, before Che Adams equalised for the visitors.

The work ethic of United's players has been called into question a number of times this season and fans have accused some of the club's attacking players, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, of being reluctant to work hard and press for the team.

"It's not a big secret that when [United] lose the ball the reverse gears are not the best from everyone," Hasenhuttl said in the aftermath.
