Newcastle United are making a move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
Calciomercato.com says Newcastle have been in touch with Fiorentina about Milenković.
The 24-year-old centre-back came close to leaving Fiorentina last summer and is now being watched by Serie A clubs and Newcastle.
The Viola are prepared to sell Milnekovic this summer - for the right price.
If he does leave his current club, it may be that Fiorentina would prefer to sell to a club abroad rather than Italy, which could give Newcastle some leverage.
