Christopher Nkunku cannot guarantee staying with RB Leipzig beyond the end of this season.
The young French striker has a contract to 2024, but admits he could be on the move this summer.
Nkunku said, "A lot can happen between now and until summer.
"It would be disrespectful to the club to think about it now, but after the season I will sit down with the club, my adviser and my family and make a decision."
Nkunku's form this season has attracted interest from England, where Manchester United and Liverpool are among clubs watching developments.
The 24 year-old has scored 18 goals and produced 13 assists in 30 games this season.
