Sporting CP coach Ruben Amorim has welcomed new signing Marcus Edwards.
Edwards made his debut last night for the win against Belenenses and Amorim said: "Obviously in a controlled game, against a system of three centre-backs, so he could easily understand who had to put pressure on.
"He's a smart player, trained at a big English club, he'll adapt well. I hope he enjoys it.
"He's a player who needs to have fun."
