Kyndryl and AWS Partner to Accelerate Cloud Adoption and Innovation for Customers

Kyndryl, the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, announced a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) to combine their respective expertise, skills, and global resources to help customers transform their businesses through Industry-focused enterprise cloud services and solutions. Kyndryl wants to build out its own internal infrastructure on the cloud, employing AWS as a preferred cloud provider, in addition to cooperating with AWS to provide solutions for Kyndryl's top enterprise customers throughout the world. AWS will become a Kyndryl Premier Global Alliance Partner as part of this announcement.

Kyndryl and AWS will work together to establish a worldwide AWS practise with the skills, resources, and knowledge needed to provide best-in-class customer service. Kyndryl will develop an AWS Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) as part of the global cooperation to provide cutting-edge client solutions and services for mission-critical infrastructure, next-generation technologies, and modernising applications and processes across industries. The worldwide AWS CCOE will enable Kyndryl services experts worldwide to optimise their clients' migration journeys with AWS, leveraging the world's leading cloud's availability, reliability, and security.

Kyndryl and AWS announced they are developing an accelerator for VMware Cloud on AWS leveraging their deep partnerships with VMware to offer differentiated value to customers. AWS, VMware, and Kyndryl will supply deep expertise and tailored solutions through the accelerator to help the world's leading organisations combine their existing VMware investments with AWS services. Kyndryl's high concentration of customers running VMware on-premises provides an expedited path to VMware Cloud on AWS and helps organisations run their mission-critical workloads in the cloud.

As a Premier Global Alliance Partner and MSP-certified member of the AWS Partner Network (APN), Kyndryl has invested heavily in developing AWS competencies and has built an experienced team of AWS-certified services professionals through the Kyndryl Academy for AWS. Kyndryl and AWS will further invest in the education of more than 10,000 Kyndryl professionals by the end of 2022, upskilling them in a wide range of AWS skills to support its customers' rapid adoption of cloud services and solutions around the globe.
