
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's daily Covid-19 caseload breached the 2,000 mark today according to spokesman for the crisis Datuk Masidi Manjun.
"Burst the 2K ceiling!" Masidi announced on Twitter.
"New cases went past the 2,000 level with 2,069 (+469).
"Except for Sandakan (-55), Kalabakan (unchanged) and Tongod (0), all districts registered increased cases; KK 395, Tuaran 192, Papar 161, Penampang 161, Lahad Datu 137, Tawau 113."
99.37% of the new cases were asymptomatic or light infections, he added.
