Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui admitted relief after doing enough in their Europa League playoff at Dinamo Zagreb.
Sevilla lost 1-0 on the night, but reach the next round 3-2 on aggregate.
Lopetegui said, "Dinamo are a quality opponent, we were suffering in the second half but we were in a good physical condition so we managed to hold on. We had our chances but in football when you don't use your chances, the punishment can come. That's how we conceded a goal. That's how the situation got complicated.
"We eliminated a strong and quality opponent. We achieved a valuable win and we have to celebrate this."
January signing Jesus Corona also stated: "Away matches in the Europa League are difficult, we knew it wouldn't be easy. When they scored a goal we were worried that things can go wrong, but we were preparing for that and we managed to go through."
