Watford manager Roy Hodgson wants more from his front three despite beating Aston Villa over the weekend.

The Hornets currently have an attacking trident of Emmanuel Dennis, Ismaila Sarr and Joshua King.

And Hodgson has called out the trio to get Watford out of the relegation zone.

"I thought the the base that the back four and the midfield three gave us was very important," said Hodgson.

"I think there's still a lot more to come from the three attackers. I would say that the key to our victory today was the three midfield players. I thought they did very well both with the ball and without the ball and gave the back four the little bit of protection they needed to to keep Aston Villa at bay.

"I thought that probably going forward, I would maybe expect a little bit more from our front three than we actually saw today. But perhaps I'm being too critical."
