Kota Kinabalu: Sabah saw record 4,374 new Covid-19 cases today and two new clusters including at the Kota Kinabalu prison for the third time.
"Higher and higher! Record 4,374 (+339) cases today, nearly 63% symptomatic," Sabah's spokesman for the crisis Datui Masidi Manjun announced on Twitter.
"KK 752 (-158), Sandakan 647 (+151), Tuaran 388, Penampang 385 (+60), Tawau 256 (-72) and Putatan 241 (+41).
"New KK prison cluster (104) and school cluster in Kota Belud (22).
99.45% of the new cases were asymptomatic or light infections, said Masidi.
