Kota Kinabalu: Former Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan welcomed the setting up of the Special Committee on Undocumented Foreign Workers and Foreign Nationals in Sabah.
He hoped it would be a Permanent Committee with its own budget and manpower. The State Government on Wednesday appointed Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan as Chairman of the committee to collect input from law enforcement agencies, industry players as well as political and community leaders on how best to address the issue of undocumented foreign workers and their dependents in Sabah.
