Manchester United are in talks with the agents of Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.
With a deal to 2023, Araujo has been locked in new contract talks with Barca, where he is unhappy with their approach so far.
Goal says United are keen and have already tabled a deal worth €10m-a-year to the Uruguay international's camp.
For his part, Barca coach Xavi has made it clear he wants Araujo secured to a new deal.
The 22 year-old has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals.
