RANAU: The Ranau Fire and Rescue Department recorded a 25.9pc drop in house fire cases throughout 2021 compared to the previous year with 43 cases.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said active campaigning by the department in spreading awareness to the public about fire hazards contributed to the considerable decline.
