An 18-year-old teenager had attempted to jump off the 8th-floor of a condominium in Kampung Kenneison, Selayang. Fortunately, the local firefighters arrived just in time.

According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) director, Norazam Khamis, they received an emergency call at 2:16 PM and arrived at the location nine minutes later. It took a total of two officers and nine members from the Selayang and Petaling Jaya Fire and Rescue Stations (BBP) for the rescue operation to succeed.

"During the incident, the victim was alone and had locked the door of the residence from the inside," The rescue team managed to persuade the victim at around 3:45 PM. According to the rescue team present during the incident, the teen was overwhelmed with sadness and frustration as her relationship wasn't approved by her family.
