West Ham United manager David Moyes believes Declan Rice is worth more than £100m and has an excellent chance of becoming an England captain.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are all interested in signing the England midfielder.

"As an individual he is a really improving young man who has gained a lot of experience and is getting better," said Moyes.

"He is learning an awful lot from Mark Noble. And I have said many times he should look at Harry Kane and Harry Maguire and all those senior players he is involved with at England, and take as much from them as he can.

"Because in the future there is no doubt he is in with a great chance of being the England captain - so he should look at them.

"We are really pleased to have him and he is a really impressive young man."

Asked whether Rice is worth more than £100m, Moyes, after a long pause, replied: "Yeah.

"I think I've said everything there is to say about Declan. He's a really important player for West Ham, he's someone who we value greatly and you can see what he means to the team.

"He's a really good individual and we're enjoying having him."
