Tottenham won't push Harry Kane about new contract talks.
Kane produced one of the standout performances of the season as he scored twice in Sunday's 3-2 victory over Manchester City.
The 28-year-old had pushed to join Pep Guardiola's side last summer, only for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to block a move in his determination to keep their prized asset.
During the saga last summer, Kane turned down a lucrative contract extension and his current agreement has two years remaining at the end of the current campaign.
Now Tottenham are not planning to approach Kane over a new contract, says the Athletic.
It's said they 'accept' the ball is in Kane's court and it would be the striker who would have to make the first move at this moment.
