Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has stepped up his recovery in training.
The Gunners posted a video of the Japan international going through his paces at London Colney.
Mikel Arteta is hopeful the 23-year-old is available for this weekend's clash with Brentford, who Arsenal lost too on opening day.
Tomiyasu has not played since the Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg defeat by Liverpool on January 20 with a calf problem.
