Chelsea are stepping up their interest in Real Madrid defender Eder Militao.
Marca says the 24-year-old centre back has three years left on his current deal at the Spanish giants.
But he is said to be one of the squad's lowest earning players with an annual salary of £2.5million.
It is thought that both the player and club want to renew the existing contract, but there have been no formal discussions so far.
While it is clear Militao does not want to leave - as he enjoys working under Ancelotti - the Brazilian has been eyed up by several of Europe's giants.
Bayern Munich have previously been linked with a move for the South American.
But Chelsea are now thought to be the frontrunners and are set for a meeting with his agent.
