Leicester City chiefs are happy to count on manager Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers' job is not under threat despite Leicester City's alarming run of form, says The Telegraph.

The Foxes have not won in five Premier League games, and have lost five of the last eight.

The slump has left the FA Cup holders in the bottom half of the table, but there are no plans to replace Rodgers as manager.

Leicester have been plagued by injuries this term with Wesley Fofana and Justin James long-term casualties. Rodgers has also been without key players such as Jonny Evans, Timothy Castagne and Jamie Vardy in recent weeks.

The sheer quantity of players that Leicester have lost to the treatment room is said to be one of the major factors in the board wishing to persist with Rodgers.
