Kota Kinabalu: Police detained a man and seized a pistol after a scuffle broke out between him and a food delivery rider at a roundabout near the Benoni Commercial Centre, here, today, which went viral on social media.
District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit said that the man was detained at about 8.45am with the help of an eyewitness.
The eight-second video of the two men fighting on the road went viral with a caption stating a pistol was found at the scene.
Batholomew confirmed a pistol was seized at the scene believed to belong to the suspect, however, investigations are progressing.
