What to do about the enigmatic Najib?

Tun M must be exasperated, by now. The public is beyond vexation. Anger and frustrations over this enigmatic personality are mild terminologies for one who has fallen from grace.
Like a sailor who fell from grace with the sea, the general public can hardly wait for Najib’s day of judgment.
Except perhaps by those who still hero-worship him.
Netizens say he is like a fortress. Nothing seems to affect him. Tun had fired one salvo after another, so did Muhyiddin but Najib is still there, undaunted and undented.
He is a hero worshipped by followers everywhere he goes. Even at a recent unannounced “drop-in” for a Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves where a red dot was thumbed onto his forehead by a Hindu leader.
Vocal Muslim religious elites and clerics who were fast to reprimand Malay college students that volunteered to clean up a Hindu temple after a flood were cowed into silence.
Instead, many Malay Muslim leaders preferred to pray for his soul quietly, instead of openly criticising or confronting him for action if committed by ordinary Muslims would have been regarded as an act of defiance against Islamic principles and cultural beliefs. This scion could do no wrong.
Much to Tun’s distaste and disgust, followers of Najib still rush to kiss the letter’s hands in public. Videos of him being mobbed at shopping malls continued to be mounted on social media by his followers.
His followers continue to make a mockery of what the world considers an embarrassment by begging the question, what is there to be embarrassed about, my dear chief?
Sometimes adding a term of endearment at the end, Malu Apa Bossku…Tok Najib?
The “tok” a term showing respect, often reserved for the revered in the Malay community is flaunted freely despite his convicted status or a national embarrassment as labelled by the courts.
He has a following akin to those developed by other cult leaders around the world with devotees in tow throughout the country.
Rumours say Najib did appoint a PR consultant to manage his tainted image. They had succeeded in elevating Najib to a status of a cult leader, enjoyed perhaps only by the likes of late Pastor Moon of Korea or Evangelist Billy Graham a Baptist leader in the bible belt of the USA.
But for Najib, there was no religion involved.
However, Najib has managed to develop an unquestioning loyalty amongst his followers wherein their eyes he could do no wrong. Almost infallible.
Despite being found guilty by two courts they are still praying and hoping for this scion, wealthy, powerful son of a former PM, would be unconditionally freed one day, to be PM yet again! Are ordinary Malays so gullible?
However, for those who are not so gullible and not affected by his personality cult, Tun M included, they are waiting for this hero-worshipping, hand-kissing, and boss cooing to end; that will finally put a stop to this enigmatic personality that is more than just a national embarrassment.
They are also praying equally hard for him to get what he deserves most, in the end; a prison term.
