Wilfried Zaha was the hero and villain for Crystal Palace in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Norwich City.

The Canaries led through the quickest Premier League goal of the season when Teemu Pukki fired in after 38 seconds from Adam Idah's lay-off.

Dean Smith's side had the better chances but Palace slowly worked themselves into the game and had a goal disallowed.

Zaha deservedly levelled the scores on the 60th minute mark with a sublime curled finish from the edge of the box.

But rather than walk away as the match-winner, the Ivory Coast international delivered one of the worst Premier League penalties in recent memory.

Zaha was given the opportunity when Max Aarons brought down Tyrick Mitchell, but the 29-year-old sent his shot embarrassingly wide.

Norwich remain in the 18th position and sit one point from safety, while Palace remain in 13th.
