
Kota Kinabalu: Persatuan Usahawan Wanita Industri Kecil Sederhana (IKS) Kota Belud aspire to produce more women entrepreneurs in the district who own a business that produce local-made products to boost the economy of Kota Belud and the State in general by 2025.
Its Chairwoman, Natalia Hassan nevertheless said the association need strong support from the Government in order to attain this as well as to ensure success of its activities.
She said when leading a delegation to pay a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Industrial Development Minister, Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam at his office in Wisma Kewangan.
The delegation briefed Dr Joachim on the association’s activities planned in the district.
Dr Joachim said his Ministry, through its Department of Industrial Development and Research (DIDR), will study the proposals and applications made by the association.
