Tottenham goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman has re-joined Degerfors IF on loan for the duration of the 2022 Swedish Allsvenskan season.

A product of the Spurs Academy, the 23-year-old goalkeeper made 13 appearances during the latter half of Degerfors' 2021 campaign, helping them to retain their top-flight status.

Whiteman made his competitive debut for Spurs against Ludogorets in the UEFA Europa League in November, 2020.

Spurs also have the option to recall Whiteman as part of the agreement.

Elsewhere, Development Squad goalkeeper Kacper Kurylowicz has joined Isthmian League side Potters Bar Town on loan for the rest of the campaign. He will be eligible to play for both the Hertfordshire club and Spurs Under-23s, while continuing to train full-time with the club.

In addition, Spurs have agreed to release midfielder Michael Craig from his contract.

Whiteman joined the Academy at Under-13 level and progressed to the Development Squad, also making two appearances in the first team squad as an unused substitute in the UEFA Europa Conference League earlier this season.
