Ousmane Dembele has rejected a free transfer from Barcelona.
Marca says Dembele will remain at Barcelona until the end of the season after rejecting a release offer from the club.
The Blaugrana were trying to sell the French winger during the January window, but despite interest from clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham and Chelsea, no agreement was reached.
Then, after the market closed, the Catalan club opened the door for Dembele to depart, but the player decided that wasn't the way he wanted to leave.
In fact, Dembele never wanted to leave this season, but after talks with his agent, Moussa Sissoko, he accepted the idea late in the winter window. Barcelona had grown impatient with the player after contract extension talks stalled and wanted to cash in on the player instead of risking losing him for free.
