
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah broke its record again today with 5,082 new Covid-19 cases, the first time it breached the 5,000 mark, and also registered two new school clusters.
"Ribu! (Thousands!). In fact, record 5,082 cases today, 59.6% symptomatic," Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun, announced on Twitter.
"KK 1,086 with 59.5% symptomatic/sporadic, Sandakan 500, Penampang 463, Tuaran 421, Papar 313, Tawau 310.
"Two new school clusters; 604 children below 11 yr old infected."
99.72 percent of the cases were asymptomatic or light infections, added Masidi.
