And former OM defender Renato Civelli stated: "I was not a big fan of Matteo Guendouzi, his personality. It was the first time I saw him live and there he was the man of the match.
"He recovered a lot of balls, pressed, he really made me change my mind and convinced me.
"He is behind the first goal, but on other actions that did not succeed, he was the one who started, it is not so common to see midfielders recover the ball and be able then play like him."
