Kota Kinabalu: DAP Kota Kinabalu MP Chan Foong Hin (inset) urged the Sabah government to temporarily suspend export sales tax on scrap metals so as to allow members of Sabah Scrap Metals Recycle Association (SSMRA) to recover their cash flow first.
He said the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) State government must allow these industry players to survive first before talking about further development of the downstream economy.
