Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes Egypt should have given Mohamed Salah an earlier penalty.
Due to the nature of the shoot out, Salah was not able to take a penalty in the game, with Sadio Mane winning the shoot out 4-2 for his nation Senegal.
Salah was meant to be Egypt's fifth penalty taker, but two of their players had already missed their spot kicks in the shoot out.
Carragher vented on Twitter: "That is why your best penalty taker should never go fifth."
Carragher added: "Mo Salah not taking a penalty for Egypt in a shootout in a final is madness. Also happened to Ronaldo years ago for Portugal v Spain."
