
TAWAU: Tawau Food and Beverage Operators Association President Dany Wong Ming Kien totally agreed with Malaysia Singapore Coffee Shop Proprietor General Association that employees must do self-test every two or three days, instead of once a week, due to the rapid increase in Covid-19 cases nowadays.
He said food and beverage operators must also comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times such as wearing a mask, keeping a distance between the tables and chairs and the number of people sitting at a table, etc.
“Those employees/workers who are on leave must do self-test before returning work in order to protect themselves, their co-workers and customers,” he said.
