Brondby chairman Jan Bech Andersen has revealed they were offered Aarhus signing Jack Wilshere.
The former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder signed for AGF on Sunday.
Andersen said, "It must fit. Whether it is a coach or a player, he must fit in.
"Without saying that Jack Wilshere is a hailstone, because he is a player who has of course been offered to us.
"But again, does he fit in with the young players we have and the things we want in terms of culture and nationality? He has not played for a long time, and I wish him all the best of luck."
