Brentford boss Thomas Frank has revealed how he secured Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.
The Danish international has returned to the Premier League, which is remarkable considering the cardiac arrest he suffered during a Euro 2020 clash in the summer of 2021.
The 29-year-old has signed with the Bees until the end of the season after his contract with Inter Milan was terminated.
"In the middle of December, I gave him a call," Frank told The Times.
"I said, 'What's up Christian? Do you want to come to Brentford?'"
