Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with Gareth Bale's performance for their 0-0 draw with Villarreal.
Ancelotti has left the door open for Gareth Bale to start Real Madrid's crucial Champions League tie away at Paris Saint-Germain next Tuesday night, following his impressive performance away at Villarreal on Saturday afternoon.
The Welshman might not have got on the scoresheet in the 0-0 draw at the Estadio de la Ceramica, but he played well as a striker in the absence of Karim Benzema.
"I don't know [if Bale will start against PSG]," Ancelotti said during his post-match press conference.
"We'll have to wait and see what happens in the next few days. Hopefully we can get everyone back.
"He's had the chance [to play] and he's delivered, he could have scored, he's been dangerous... Everything we asked of him."
