
KOTA KINABALU: Police have detained a former soldier and nine others for their involvement in burglary cases worth more than half a million ringgit.
City Police Chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah said the suspects were part of “Geng Gurun” led by the 34-year-old former soldier from Kedah.
“We (Police) are still hunting for six more members who are still on the loose,” he said in a press conference, here, Thursday.
The suspects, he said, were arrested in a series of arrests since early this month, after they committed 19 luxury house burglary cases, here.
