
PETALING JAYA: Police have reported another death in custody case, this time involving a 39-year old man.
Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS) Director Commissioner Datuk Azri Ahmad said the man died yesterday when receiving treatment at Selayang hospital.
Earlier, the man, who was on the wanted list, was detained for his alleged involvement with an investigation under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
The man reportedly complained of breathing difficulties before being admitted to the hospital.
Bukit Aman Crime Investigation Unit on Death In Custody will investigate the matter.
