Kota Kinabalu: The two new Covid-19 clusters announced earlier today were found in Nabawan and a Kota Belud school, said an update.
The Loboh Nabawan cluster was linked to a wake and funeral at Kg Loboh Nabawan and had 17 cases so far, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis Datuk Masidi Manjun.
The Kota Belud cluster named Pengkalan Abai involved teachers and students' quarters of SMK Tun Said and had 39 cases so far.
There were now 36 active clusters in Sabah mostly at educational institutions (26) followed by workplace clusters (six), community (two) and one cluster each in the religious and high-risk categories.
