Rangers are still hopeful of convincing teenage sensation Rory Wilson to stay at the club.
The youngster has netted 40 goals for the club's youth sides this term, and has seven in six games for Scotland's Under-17s.
Aston Villa, Man City, Man Utd, Newcastle, Leeds and Liverpool are among the teams chasing Wilson.
The Scottish Daily Express says Brighton assistant technical director David Weir - a former star at Ibrox - has sent scouts to watch Wilson.
He is extremely highly rated by scouts throughout Europe, and the 16-year-old could move as soon as this summer.
However, Rangers have not been told by Wilson that he wants to go, and they are hopeful that he will stay with the club for the immediate future.
