RB Leipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen has welcomed Christian Eriksen back to the Denmark squad.

The Brentford midfielder returns to the Denmark team for the first time since his cardiac arrest at last summer's Euros.

Poulsen said: "It's going to be cool to have Christian back. We are all so happy that it has gone as it has gone and that we can already now get him back in the national team camp. I do not think there were many who had thought so, so we are really looking forward to it.

"It is the first time since the European Championships for many of us that we are allowed to be with him on the football field again, so it is clear it will be special.

"He's just Christian, as he always has been, and he was already right after the European Championships. When he visited us in the national team camp, he was like, 'So what? Shall we not go in and play or what?'. Christian is just Christian."
