Spain chiefs have been rocked by news that Barcelona winger Eze Abde is committing his international future to Morocco.

Abde, 20, has been called up to the Morocco squad for the World Cup playoff against DR Congo, which will take place next March 25 and March 29.

The decision is now final: Abde will play with Morocco. And this has caused some upset inside the RFEF.

AS reports Abde was part of Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuente's plans to be called up for this international break, but the player permanently changed his plans a week ago, almost without warning, which stunned De le Fuente, who was counting on him.
