Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris insists he's not obsessed by a looming appearances record with France.
When France play their friendly against South Africa on Tuesday night, it could be Lloris' 138th cap.
The record stands at 142 appearances for France, wich is held by Lilian Thuram.
"Records are there to be broken," Lloris told Europe 1.
"But it has never been an obsession (getting the international record). I demand more and am more focused on the match, on the tournament, and that has been my guideline from day to day for quite a few years.
"But again, we are getting close and with so much honour. However, the goal is clear: the World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year."
