Manchester City and Barcelona target Erling Haaland will ask for a release clause in his next contract.

The Norway international is being linked with a host of top clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Chelsea.

According to The Sun, Haaland has a release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract that will make for a seemingly straightforward transfer for the club he chooses to join.

Aside from massive wage demands, bonuses, and agent fees, Haaland will also want another release clause, regardless of the club he joins.

He will be 22 soon, and wants to ensure he is not tied down to a single club for the rest of his career.
