Genoa defender Domenico Criscito has put off a move to Toronto FC.
Criscito was set to join Toronto immediately, but wants to stay and help Genoa beat the drop.
Sky Italia says Criscito has now decided he won't leave Genoa during their moment of need, with the club in the dropzone.
It is still possible that Criscito will join Toronto FC in July, but he won't walk away from Marassi mid-season.
Criscito came through Genoa's youth system and returned to the club in 2018 after a successful stint in Russia with Zenit St Petersburg.
