Crystal Palace scored a late goal to claim a 2-1 win over Stoke City and book their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Palace, playing in front of their supporters at Selhurst Park, took an early lead when Jean-Philippe Mateta's deflected shot landed to Cheikhou Kouyate, who finished authoritatively from six yards out.

Stoke weren't going away however and the Championship side found an equaliser shortly after half-time through Josh Tymon.

But there was no upset on Tuesday night as Jairo Riedewald pounced on Jack Bonham's cross to win the match for Palace.

It is only the third time Palace have reached the FA Cup quarter-finals stage since 1996.
