Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah says he's working to be a positive role model for Egyptian football.

The striker admits it's his great goal in life.

"One of my goals in life is to convince people of their ability to achieve what they dream of," Salah told DMC.

“I've been after this since I left for Switzerland. Life was not easy because I didn't speak English. I asked myself whether it is worth returning to Egypt, like all those who left and achieved nothing, or is it better to stay and succeed.

“I started focusing on things like personality development to see if talent alone was enough to be successful or if I needed to work on my psychology. If I had asked 6-7 years ago in Egypt if we had a player capable of competing with the best in the world, everyone would have answered no. Now everything is different.

"This was my main goal in life. And if I were dying today, I would know that I had achieved much of what I aspired to."
