Bayern Munich have held talks with Middlesbrough for Djed Spence.
Sky Deutschland says a round of negotiations have been held, with Bayern intending to return at the end of this month for more talks.
Spence has impressed Bayern scouts while on-loan with Nottingham Forest this season.
In Germany, it is suggested Tottenham and Manchester City have also sent out feelers.
Bayern do not expect Boro to demand more than €10-15m to sell Spence this summer.
