Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal's season is over.
The Spain international has suffered a torn ACL to his left knee and will sit out the remainder of the campaign.
La Real confirmed the injury late Thursday, with expectations that Oyarzabal will be out of action for 7-9 months.
The winger broke down in training earlier this week, collapsing after receiving the ball in a drill.
The setback now puts Oyarzabal's place in Spain's World Cup squad in jeopardy for December.
