Manchester United are not moving forward with their attempt to sign Victor Osimhen.

The Red Devils are eager to sign a centre-forward in the summer, considering the situation involving Mason Greenwood and the likely departures of Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Osimhen is someone who is highly rated in Serie A, and is admired by United interim boss Ralf Rangnick, per the Daily Star.

However, the English outlet claims that Napoli informed United that Osimhen would cost around £100 million, which has ended the Red Devils' interest.

They are likely to pursue other targets, as they do not believe the Nigerian merits such a transfer fee.

Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, Inter Milan ace Lautaro Martinez and Tottenham Hotspur skipper Harry Kane have also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
