AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori admits there's big differences between Serie A and the Premier League.

Tomori left Chelsea for Milan last season.

He said: "In England it's more like basketball. There is the goal-to-goal, there is more intensity that happens much more reactively.

"Here in Italy, it's more like American football. It's like playing when the ball is here, I have to be there. When the ball moves, I know I have to be two metres over here or look for that specific player.

"In England, it all happens without preparation, and it happens so fast. One can be in the attack one minute and the next minute the ball is flipped over your head and you have to run 30 meters back. Then you are back in the attack again.

"Here it's more a question of 'OK, the ball is there, where's my teammate? Where is my opponent?'"
