IN efforts to uplift the socio-economy of Sabahans in rural areas, the Rural Development Ministry will focus on swiftlet farming activities under its Rural Entrepreneur Programme.
Its Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim said the Ministry will also focus on agricultural opportunities such as the planting of Sacha Inchi and Sabah Banana.
“Planting activities (of Sacha Inchi and Sabah Banana) are a priority of this Ministry in order to improve the socio-economy of the rural community,” he said during the State Assembly (DUN) sitting.
