Former Leeds United defender Neil Aspin says Rodrigo has underperformed since his arrival at Elland Road.
The 30-year-old Spain international has played in 20 Premier League games this term but scored just three times from a supporting striker position.
After the defeat, Aspin spoke to BBC Radio Leeds to voice his frustration with the 2019 Copa Del Rey winner.
“He is a player that was signed for a lot of money, has a big reputation", he said.
“I'm not one who wants to criticise players, but he hasn't done enough since he's been here."
He added: “We're expecting more from him. Every time he starts a game, we are expecting something from him.
“He's got some ability, but he hasn't produced it often enough in a Leeds shirt."
