Manchester United caretaker Ralf Rangnick has dismissed talk of interest in Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.

With the Blues in limbo after the UK government's sanctioning of owner Roman Abramovich, the future of Tuchel has come into sharp focus and he is being linked with United.

However, Rangnick said on Friday: "It doesn't make sense to even think or suggest that Tuchel will join Manchester United.

"I like his style, he is a top manager. Now he is the head coach of Chelsea.

"There are questions related to the owner of this club, but now it does not make sense to speculate that he will be a candidate for a job at Manchester United in the summer."
